The organization helps international women to settle in and discover Pittsburgh. At the same time, it gives women a chance to meet new people and learn about other cultures. On September 9, 1993, the group became known as the International Women's Association of Pittsburgh. Since then, women from all parts of the world have come together to form lasting friendships.
