Please check our "Meetings" section to have more information about our activities.
The meeting starts with an opportunity to socialize over refreshments followed by a program which may include world customs and cultures, American holidays and celebrations, crafts, lectures, etc.
Since 1967, Pittsburgh women have offered friendship, information, and assistance to international women via a weekly meeting held at First Baptist Church in Oakland. On September 9, 1993, the group became known as the International Women's Association of Pittsburgh. Since then, women from all parts of the world have come together to form lasting friendships. Our group is a good place to make new friends, and to find old ones.
IWAP is not a religious group. The church kindly allows the group to use its facilities.
