New location for 2016!

        For as long as the International Women's Association of Pittsburgh has been in existence, our home has been First Baptist Church in Oakland.  And for many years now, we have taught weekly English classes at Church of the Ascension in Shadyside.  Both churches have been wonderful hosts for our meetings and classes.  But as our organization has grown, we found that after all these years, it was time to look for a new home.  We needed more room for our meetings and more classroom space for English; and we needed to find a place with adequate parking.

         After months of searching for another location for our group, we are very happy to announce that starting in January 2016, we will move all IWAP activities to First United Methodist Church on the corner of S. Aiken and Centre Avenue in Shadyside.  It will be wonderful to be able to have our meetings and classes in one convenient location.

         Our final meeting at First Baptist will be our Holiday Party on Thursday, December 17th.  Our final English class at Ascension will be on Monday, December 21st. 

Please join us for our first meeting of the New Year on January 14 at our new home, First United Methodist Church, 5401 Centre Avenue.
